From the Pastor's Pen....

     The hope that one day all will be forgiven and we can live a life that is not filled with regret, shame and sorrow seems to be a dream beyond belief for some people.  Maybe this morning you are living in this spiritual state or you know of someone who is there and nothing seems to help.  I can assuredly tell you that there is eternal hope that living a life free of regret, shame and sorrow.  That hope is not a distant far off future event it is available today, even right now if you will respond to the Holy Spirit and what He tells you.

     Putting your complete trust in the living savior Jesus Christ is the only way that you can truly have forgiveness and live a life in which you are not always looking back over your shoulder at what may be lurking behind you.  Yes there are consequences for our actions both good and bad, but when our sins are forgiven through the blood of Jesus the condemnation that comes from sin is vanquished forever.

     The unnamed woman at the well experienced this just as you can today if you will honestly claim the soul cleansing forgiveness that can only come from Jesus Christ.  He is our only hope, there is no other.  Praise the Lord he is the way the truth and the life!

     Our Sins Are Like the Clouds…

     You have seen a cloud drifting across the pure blue of the sky, and as you watch it, it breaks up and disappears forever. You will never see that cloud again.

     So God deals with your sins. You believe in His Son as your Lord and Savior. Then He blots out your transgressions just as He sweeps the cloud from your sight forever. The Bible abounds in these assurances of utter removal of the penalty of sin from the child of God
