The Kingsport School of the Bible is an education program that helps believers expand their understanding of the Bible and prepare them for ministry in the local church. The school is designed for lay people and lay workers in the church. This includes deacons, Sunday School teachers, youth and children’s workers, Bible study leaders, and many others who simply desire to deepen their Bible knowledge and enhance their ability to serve the Lord.

Students
Enrollment is open to men and women who have a sincere desire to know more of God’s Word. No academic prerequisites are in effect. Students come from all types of backgrounds and professions. Enrollment is open to adults of all ages and high school Juniors and Seniors.
Graduation
Complete all twelve courses and earn a Biblical Studies Certificate! Graduates of the Kingsport School of the Bible may participate in the commencement exercises of Crown College.
Cost
Classes are affordably priced at $60 per semester. This cost includes a beautifully prepared Student Notebook for each course. An additional one-time fee is due when students participate in the commencement exercises after completing all twelve classes. If you prepay for all 12 courses at one time, the cost will be reduced to $15 per class or $180 for the entire course.
Fall Semester 2023
Classes will start at 6:30 pm and will end around 8:50. Each Semester will consist of three classes with the first Semester starting on January 26, 2023.
Spring Semester Schedule
6:30 – 7:10 pm – New Testament Survey II
A survey of the books of the New Testament (Philippians through Revelation). The main theme of each book is highlighted along with other significant features including key words, key verses, and pictures of Christ.
7:15 – 7:55 pm – The New Testament Church
A study of the first-century church in the New Testament. Emphasis is laid on the biblical purpose of the church and the involvement of each member of the body. Key topics are studied such as worship in the church and the prayer life of the church.
8:00 – 8:40 pm – The Life of Christ
A detailed look at the Person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ. Some topics covered are Christ’s virgin birth; His teachings, miracles, and parables; His suffering and death; and His resurrection and ascension. Students also learn Bible answers concerning the deity of Jesus Christ.
