God

We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who created the world, who made man in His own image, and who so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son for man’s redemption. Genesis 1:1, 1:27; John 3:16.

Christ

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, Hebrews 15-13, that he is co-eternal and co-equal with God the Father. Philippians 2:6 We believe the Bible's record of His virgin birth and sinless life, and that He is the true God and true man. Matthew 1:18-23 We believe Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as the substitutionary sacrifice. I Peter 2:24, I Peter 3:18 We believe in the bodily resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His ascension to heaven and in His presence there for us as high priest and advocate. Acts 1:9; Hebrews 7:25

The Way of Salvation In Christ Jesus

We believe that the way of salvation of sinners, being born again, is wholly of grace through faith in the atoning death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Click here to learn more about salvation.

Justification

We believe that justification is the perfect righteousness of God imputed to the believers in Christ Jesus. Acts 13:39; Romans 5:1,2

The Holy Spirit

We believe that God the Holy Spirit, as revealed in the Bible, is a person coequal and co-eternal with God the Father and God the Son; that the Holy Spirit brings conviction (awareness of guilt), brings salvation, indwells and seals the believer that he may lead a godly life; and that the Holy Spirit strengthens faith, brings comfort and peace in a time of sorrow and distress, and enlightens our hearts and minds to understand and apply Bible truths. John 14:16; 16:13-14; Ephesians 4:30

Repentance

We believe that repentance is turning from sin and turning to Christ; that true repentance results in a changed life, and that the believer now seeks to live his life according to the will of God. Luke 13:5

The Local Church

We believe that the local church, headed by Christ, is a congregation of baptized believers bound together in the faith and fellowship of the Gospel; and that Jesus committed the ministry of the Gospel to His Church. We believe the church of the Lord Jesus Christ is a local body of believers on mission to enlarge God’s kingdom. The local church is autonomous and free of any external authority or control. Acts 2:41-42; Matthew 28:19-20

The Fall of Man

We believe that man was created in holiness, but by voluntary transgression fell from that Holy state; consequently, all mankind are now sinners and are under condemnation of eternal ruin. Genesis 1:27; Romans 5:12

Creation

We believe in the Genesis account of creation and the fact that man was created by a direct act of God; not by evolution. Genesis 2:7. We believe the six days of creation to be six 24-hour days, not 6,000 years. God created man and animals and told man and animals to “be fruitful and multiply,” He also said that man and animal would produce “after their kind.”

The Existence of Satan

We believe in the existence of Satan who originally was created a holy and perfect being, but through pride and wicked ambition rebelled against God, thus becoming utterly depraved in character; that he is the great adversary of God and His people, the leader of all evil angels and wicked spirits, and the deceiver and god of this present world; that his powers are vast, but strictly limited by the permissive will of God who overrules all his wicked devices for good; that he was defeated and judged at the cross, and therefore, his final doom is certain; and that we are able to resist and overcome him only in the armor of God, by the blood of the Lamb and through the power of the Holy Spirit Isaiah 14:12-17; I John 4:4; Ephesians 6:13-18.

Sanctification

We believe that sanctification is a setting apart of the believer unto God and that it is a progressive process by which the believer is made partaker of God’s holiness, and that this process begins in regeneration. I Thessalonians 4:3

Heaven

We believe that Heaven is a literal place of pure delight and eternal joy prepared by God for all those who have been born again. Revelation 22; John 14:1-8

Hell

We believe that hell is a literal place of punishment for the lost (all who have not been born again), that they will be there until the great white throne judgment, and that “…death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.” Revelation 20:11, 14

Eternal Security of the Born Again Believer

We believe that those who are truly born again are kept by the power of God and that it is impossible for one born again ever to be lost. John 10:28-29; John 5-24.

Marriage

We believe the only legitimate marriage is the joining of one man and one woman. We will conduct only marriages that align with our beliefs of one man and one woman. Genesis 2:24; Romans 7:2; I Corinthians 7:10; Ephesians 5:22-23.
